The following story is mentioned in Surah Qalam, Chapter 68 of the Holy Quran.
Once there was a wealthy and pious man. He had a big garden full of green trees laden with fruits. After the fruits were picked, this rightful man used to distribute some fruits among the poor who would gather at the garden every season to take their share.
Allah liked this act of the man. By the grace of Allah the garden used to give rich harvest every season. Truly, one who spends for the sake of Allah gets the reward in the hereafter as well as in this life.
This man had many sons who were not so pious as him. When their father died, they discussed a plan and said to each other that their father was not a wise man. He did not know how it was difficult to earn livelihood. They did not like the habit of distributing some of the fruits among the poor. They felt as if all their efforts would go to vain if the poor had some share.
One of the sons had a concern. What will they tell the poor people when they gather to take their fruits next time? They thought over its implications, as they were worried about losing their prestige. However, they were not afraid of Allah's wrath. One of them suggested removing all the fruits in the night and thus clearing the garden before dawn so that nobody could come and ask for his share. Everyone agreed to this suggestion. Since they were not even afraid of Allah, they forgot to say 'Insha-Allah', which means if Allah Wills, "...they swore to pluck the fruits of the (garden) in the morning, without saying Insha-Allah ('if Allah Wills')" (Verses 17-18). If a Muslim does not say Insha-Allah before doing something Allah may not fulfill his wish. But those who have no faith in Allah fail to remember this and get stuck up in their act.
Allah is all Powerful. He knows no bounds in His Governance. All the brothers went to sleep with a view to getting up early in the morning and gather the ripe fruits. In the meantime, with the Will of Allah "...there passed by on the (garden) a visitation (fire) from your Lord at night and burnt it while they were asleep." (Verse 19)
In the early morning, all of them got up and hurried up and "...called out one to another as soon as the morning broke, Saying: 'Go to your tilth in the morning, if you would pluck the fruits.' So they departed, conversing in secret low tones (saying), No Miskin (poor man) shall enter upon you into it today." (Verses 21-24)
As they were proceeding towards the garden, they were quite unaware that Allah had willed otherwise. Because the garden had become "black by the morning, like a pitch dark night (in complete ruins)" (Verse 20). So when they reached the garden, they said this was not their garden, and that they had strayed away from the right path to the garden. But when they saw there was no other way around, they were wonder struck! Soon they realized the situation and yelled: "Verily, we have gone astray," "Nay! Indeed we are deprived of (the fruits)!" The best among them said: "Did I not say to you 'Why not glorify (Allah)'?" (Verses 26-28). He had been advising them earlier against this act, for he had said it is only Allah who would enhance their fruits if they continued to give away some of them in charity.
All of them felt regretful over their misdeed. They turned, to one another, in reproach and said: "Glory to our Lord! Verily we have been doing wrong. Alas for us! We have indeed transgressed!" All of them, then, sought Allah's pardon and said: "We hope that our Lord will give us in exchange a better (garden) than this. Truly, we turn to our Lord (wishing for good that He may forgive our sins, and reward us in the Hereafter)." (Verses 31-32)
It is very beloved to Allah that we share with the less fortunate whatever we have. While some of us only feel hungry during the month of Ramadan, there are many who are hungry everyday. Let us be more generous with our wealth and help all those who are in need. We will not lose anything by giving away some of our wealth, we will only gain insh'Allah :-)

The Star Sirius
The star Sirius appears in Surat an-Najm (meaning “star”). The double stars that comprise Sirius approach each other with their axes in a bow-shape once every 49.9 years. This astronomical phenomenon is indicated in the verses Surat an-Najm 9 and 49.
When certain concepts mentioned in the Qur'an are studied in the light of 21st century scientific discoveries we find ourselves imparted with yet more miracles of the Qur'an. One of these is the star Sirius, mentioned in Surat an-Najm 49:
… it is He Who is the Lord of Sirius. (Qur'an, 53: 49)
The fact that the Arabic word "shiaara," the equivalent of the star Sirius, appears only in Surat an-Najm, meaning only "star," 49 is particularly striking. Because, considering the irregularity in the movement of Sirius, the brightest star in the night sky, as their starting point, scientists discovered that it was actually a double star. Sirius is actually a set of two stars, known as Sirius A and Sirius B. The larger of these is Sirius A, which is also the closer to the Earth and the brightest star that can be seen with the naked eye. Sirius B, however, cannot be seen without a telescope.
The Sirius double stars orbit in ellipses about one another. The orbital period of Sirius A & B about their common centre of gravity is 49.9 years. This scientific data is today accepted with one accord by the departments of astronomy at Harvard, Ottawa and Leicester Universities.51
This information is reported as follows in various sources:
Sirius, the brightest star, is actually a twin star … Its orbit lasts 49.9 years. (Exposes Astronomiques, La troisième loi de KEPLER, http://www.astrosurf.com/eratosthene/HTML/exposetheoastro.htm)
As is known, the stars Sirius-A and Sirius-B orbit each other in a double bow every 49.9 years. (http://www.dharma.com.tr/dkm/article.php?sid=87)
The point requiring attention here is the double, bow-shaped orbit of the two stars around one another.
However, this scientific fact, the accuracy of which was only realised in the late 20th century, was miraculously indicated in the Qur'an 1,400 years ago. When verses 49 and 9 of Surat an-Najm are read together, this miracle becomes apparent:
… it is He Who is the Lord of Sirius, (Qur'an, 53: 49)
He was two bow-lengths away or even closer. (Qur'an, 53:9)
The description in Surat an-Najm 9 may also describe how these two stars approach one another in their orbits. (Allah knows best.) This scientific fact, that nobody could have known at the time of the revelation of the Qur'an, once again proves that the Qur'an is the Word of Almighty Allah.

Pulsars : Pulsating Stars
[I swear] by Heaven and the Tariq(night comer)! And what will convey to you what the Tariq(night comer) is? The Star Piercing [the darkness]! (Qur'an, 86:1-3)
Pulsars are the remains of extinguished stars which emit very powerful, pulse-like radio waves and which revolve very rapidly around their own axes. It has been calculated that there are more than 500 pulsars in the Milky Way, of which our Earth is a part.
The word "Tariq," name of the Sura 86, comes from the root "tarq," whose basic meaning is that of striking hard enough to produce a sound, or hitting. Bearing in mind the word's possible meaning as "beating," "striking hard," our attention may be being drawn in this sura to an important scientific fact. Before analysing this information, let us look at the other words employed in the verse to describe these stars. The term "alttariqi" in the above verse means a star that pierces the night, that pierces the darkness, born at night, piercing and moving on, beating, striking, or sharp star. Furthermore, the term "waal" draws attention to the things being sworn on-the heaven and the Tariq.
Through research carried out by Jocelyn Bell Burnell, at Cambridge University in 1967, a regular radio signal was identified. Until that time, however, it was not known that that there was a heavenly body that could be the source of regular pulse or beating rather like that of the heart. In 1967, however, astronomers stated that, as matter grows denser in the core as it revolves around its own axis, the star's magnetic field also grows stronger, and thus gives rise to a magnetic field at its poles 1 trillion times stronger than that of Earth. They realised that a body revolving so fast and with such a powerful magnetic field emits rays consisting of very powerful radio waves in a conic form at every revolution. Shortly afterwards, it was also realised that the source of these signals is the rapid revolution of neutron stars. These newly discovered neutron stars are known as "pulsars." These stars, which turn into pulsars through supernova explosions, are of the greatest mass, and are the brightest and fastest moving bodies in the universe. Some pulsars revolve 600 times a second.50
The word "pulsar" comes from the verb to pulse. According to the American Heritage Dictionary, the word means to pulsate, to beat. Encarta Dictionary defines it as to beat rhythmically, to move or throb with a strong regular rhythm. Again, according to the Encarta Dictionary, the word "pulsate," which comes from the same root, means to expand and contract with a strong regular beat.
Following that discovery, it was realised that the phenomenon described in the Qur'an as "tariq," beating, bore a great similarity to the neutron stars known as pulsars.
Neutron stars form as the nuclei of super giant stars collapse. The highly compressed and dense matter, in the form of a rapidly revolving sphere, entraps and squeezes most of the star's weight and magnetic field. The powerful magnetic field created by these rapidly revolving neutron stars has been shown to cause the emission of powerful radio waves observable on Earth.
In the third verse of Surat at-Tariq the term "alnnajmu alththaqibu," meaning piercing, piercing and moving on, or opening holes, indicates that Tariq is a bright star that pierces a hole in the darkness and moves on. The concept of the term "adraka" in the expression "And what will convey to you what the Tariq is?" refers to comprehension. Pulsars, formed through the compression of stars several times the size of the Sun, are among those celestial bodies that are hard to comprehend. The question in the verse emphasizes how hard it is to comprehend this beating star. (Allah knows best.)
As discussed, the stars described as Tariq in the Qur'an bear a close similarity to the pulsars described in the 20th century, and may reveal to us another scientific miracle of the Qur'an.

Back Holes
The 20th century saw a great many new discoveries regarding celestial phenomena in the universe. One of these entities, which has only recently been encountered, is the Black Hole. These are formed when a star which has consumed all its fuel collapses in on itself, eventually turning into a black hole with infinite density and zero volume and an immensely powerful magnetic field. We are unable to see black holes even with the most powerful telescope, because their gravitational pull is so strong that light is unable to escape from them. However, such a collapsed star can be perceived by means of the effect it has on the surrounding area. In Surat al-Waqi'a, Allah draws attention this matter in this way, by swearing upon the position of stars:
And I swear by the stars' positions-and that is a mighty oath if you only knew. (Qur'an, 56:75-76)
The term "black hole" was first employed in 1969 by the American physicist John Wheeler. Previously, we imagined that we were able to see all the stars. However, it later emerged that there were stars in space whose light we were unable to perceive. Because, the light of these collapsed stars disappears. Light cannot escape from a black hole because it is such a high concentration of mass in a small space. The enormous gravitation captures even the fastest particles, i.e. the photons. For example, the final stage of a typical star, three times the mass of the Sun, ends after its burning out and its implosion as a black hole of only 20 kilometres in diameter! Black holes are "black," i.e. veiled from direct observation. They nevertheless reveal themselves indirectly, by the tremendous suction which their gravitational force exerts on other heavenly bodies. As well as depictions of the Day of Judgement, the verse below may also be pointing to this scientific discovery about black holes:
When the stars are extinguished, (Qur'an, 77:8)
Moreover, stars of great mass also cause warps to be perceived in space. Black holes, however, do not just cause warps in space but also tear holes in it. That is why these collapsed stars are known as black holes. This fact may be referred to in the verse about stars, and this is another important item of information demonstrating that the Qur'an is the Word of Allah.

The Well Protected Roof
In the Qur'an, Allah calls our attention to a very important attribute of the sky:
We made the sky a preserved and protected roof yet still they turn away from Our Signs. (Qur'an, 21:32)
This attribute of the sky has been proved by scientific research carried out in the 20th century: The atmosphere surrounding the Earth serves crucial functions for the continuity of life. While destroying many meteors-big and small-as they approach the Earth, it prevents them from falling to Earth and harming living things.
In addition, the atmosphere filters the light rays coming from space that are harmful to living things. The most striking feature of the atmosphere is that it lets only harmless and useful rays-visible light, near ultraviolet light and radio waves pass through. All of this radiation is vital for life. Near ultraviolet rays, which are only partially let in by the atmosphere, are very important for the photosynthesis of plants and for the survival of all living beings. The majority of the intense ultraviolet rays emitted from the Sun are filtered out by the ozone layer of the atmosphere. Only a limited and essential part of the ultraviolet spectrum reaches the Earth.
The protective function of the atmosphere does not end here. The atmosphere also protects the earth from the freezing cold of the space, which is approximately -270oC.
It is not only the atmosphere that protects the Earth from harmful effects. In addition to the atmosphere, the Van Allen Belt-the layer caused by the magnetic field of the Earth-also serves as a shield against the harmful radiation that threatens our planet. This radiation, which is constantly emitted by the Sun and other stars, is deadly to living things. If the Van Allen belt did not exist, the massive outbursts of energy called solar flares that frequently occur in the Sun would destroy all life on Earth.
The magnetosphere layer, formed by the magnetic field of the Earth, serves as a shield protecting the Earth from celestial bodies, harmful cosmic rays and particles. In the above picture, this magnetosphere layer, which is also named Van Allen Belts, is seen. These belts at thousands of kilometres above the Earth protect the living things on the Earth from the fatal energy that would otherwise reach it from space.
All these scientific findings prove that the world is protected in a very particular way. The important thing is that this protection was made known in the Qur'an in the verse "We made the sky a preserved and protected roof" fourteen centuries ago.
On the importance of the Van Allen Belt, Dr. Hugh Ross says:
In fact, the Earth has the highest density of any of the planets in our Solar System. This large nickel-iron core is responsible for our large magnetic field. This magnetic field produces the Van-Allen radiation shield, which protects the Earth from radiation bombardment. If this shield were not present, life would not be possible on the Earth. The only other rocky planet to have any magnetic field is Mercury-but its field strength is 100 times less than the Earth's. Even Venus, our sister planet, has no magnetic field. The Van-Allen radiation shield is a design unique to the Earth.21
The energy transmitted in just one of these bursts detected in recent years was calculated to be equivalent to 100 billion atomic bombs, each akin to one dropped on Hiroshima at the end of World War II. Fifty-eight hours after the burst, it was observed that the magnetic needles of compasses displayed unusual movement and 250 kilometres above the Earth's atmosphere, the temperature suddenly increased to 2,500oC.
In short, a perfect system is at work high above the Earth. It surrounds our world and protects it against external threats. Centuries ago, Allah informed us in the Qur'an of the world's atmosphere functioning as a protective shield.

Creation In Six Days
Your Lord is Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth in six days and then settled Himself firmly on the Throne... (Qur'an, 7:54)
One example of the harmony between the Qur'an and modern science is the subject of the age of the universe. Cosmologists estimate the age of the universe as 16-17 billion years. The Qur'an states that the entire universe was created in six days. These two time frames, which may seem contradictory, are actually surprisingly compatible. In fact, both these figures concerning the age of the universe are correct. In other words, the universe was created in six days, as revealed in the Qur'an, and this period corresponds to 16-17 billion years in the way that we experience time.
In 1915 Einstein proposed that time was relative, that the passage of time altered according to space, the speed of the person travelling and the force of gravity at that moment. Bearing in mind these differences in the passage of time, the period of time in which the universe was created as revealed in seven different verses of the Qur'an is actually highly compatible with scientists' estimations. The six-day period revealed in the Qur'an can be thought of as six periods. Because, taking into account the relativity of time, a "day" refers only to a 24-hour period experienced on Earth under current conditions. Elsewhere in the universe, however, at another time and under other conditions, a "day" could refer to a much longer period of time. Indeed, the word "ayyamin" in the period of six days (sittati ayyamin) in these verses (Qur'an 32:4, 10:3, 11:7, 25:59, 57:4, 50:38, and 7:54) means not only "days," but also "age, period, moment, term."
In the first period of the universe, the passage of time took place much faster than that with which we are familiar today. The reason for this is that, at the moment of the Big Bang, our universe was compressed into a very small point. The expansion of the universe and increase in its volume ever since the moment of that explosion has extended the borders of the universe to millions of light years. Indeed, the stretching of space ever since that moment has had very important ramifications for universal time.
The energy at the moment of the Big Bang slowed down the flow of time 1012 (one million million) times. When the universe was created the speed of universal time was higher up to a million million times, as time is experienced today. In other words, a million million minutes on Earth is the equivalent of just one minute in universal time.
When a six-day period of time is calculated according to the relativity of time, it equates to six million million (six trillion) days. That is because universal time flows a million million times faster than time on Earth. Calculated in terms of years, 6 trillion days equates to approximately 16.427 billion years. This is within the estimated range for the age of the universe.
6,000,000,000,000 days/365.25 = 16.427104723 billion years

Everything Is Created In Pairs
Glory be to Him Who created all the pairs: from what the earth produces and from themselves and from things unknown to them. (Qur'an, 36:36)
There are antimatter equivalents of all the basic particles in the universe. Antimatters possess the same mass but carry opposite charges. For that reason, when matter and antimatter make contact they disappear by turning into energy.
While "male and female" is equivalent to the concept of "pair," "things unknown to them," as expressed in the Qur'an, bears a broader meaning. Indeed, we encounter one of the meanings pointed to in the verse in the present day. The British physicist Paul Dirac, who discovered that matter was created in pairs, won the Nobel Prize for Physics in 1933. This finding, known as "parity," revealed the duality known as matter and anti-matter. Anti-matter bears the opposite characteristics to matter. For instance, contrary to matter, anti-matter electrons are positive and protons negative. This fact is expressed in a scientific source as follows:
... every particle has its antiparticle of opposite charge… [T]he uncertainty relation tells us that pair creation and pair annihilation happen in the vacuum at all times, in all places.47
Another example of duality in creation is plants. Botanists only discovered that there is a gender distinction in plants some 100 years ago.48 Yet, the fact that plants are created in pairs was revealed in the following verses of the Qur'an 1,400 years ago:
It is Allah Who created the heavens with no support-you can see them-and cast firmly embedded mountains on the earth so that it would not move under you, and scattered about in it creatures of every kind. And We send down water from the sky and make every generous plant grow in it, in pairs. (Qur'an, 31:10)
It is He Who made the earth a cradle for you and threaded pathways for you through it and sent down water from the sky by which We have brought forth diverse pairs of plants. (Qur'an, 20:53)

The Truth Of Destiny
But you will not will unless Allah wills. Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise. (Qur'an, 76:30)
As a result of experiments he performed in 1973, Professor Benjamin Libet, a neurophysiologist at the University of California, revealed that all our decisions and choices are set out beforehand, and that consciousness only comes into play half a second after everything has been determined.44 This is interpreted by other neurophysiologists as meaning that we actually live in the past and that our consciousness is like a monitor which shows us everything half a second later.
Therefore, none of the experiences we perceive are in real time, but are delayed by up to half a second from the real events themselves. Libet carried out his research by making use of the fact that brain surgery can be performed without the use of narcosis, in other words while the subject is fully conscious. Libet stimulated the brains of his subjects with small electrical currents, and when they experienced a perception that their hands had been touched the subjects said that they had felt that "touch" almost half a second before. As a result of his measurements, Libet arrived at the following conclusion: All perceptions are normally transmitted to the brain. As these are subconsciously evaluated and interpreted, the ego is unaware of anything. The information that appears before our minds, in other words that we can be aware of, is transmitted to the cortex, the seat of consciousness, after a certain delay.45
The conclusion from this may be summarised as follows: The decision to move a muscle takes place before that decision reaches the consciousness. There is always a delay between a neurological or perceptual process and our becoming aware of the thought, feeling, perception or movement it represents. To put it another way, we can only be aware of a decision after that decision has been taken.
In Professor Libet's experiments, this delay varies between 350 and 500 milliseconds, although the conclusion that emerges is in no way dependent upon those figures. Because, according to Libet, whatever the length of that delay-it makes no difference whether it is great or small, whether it lasts an hour or a microsecond-our material life is always in the past. This demonstrates that every thought, emotion, perception or movement happens before reaching our consciousness, and that proves that the future is entirely outside our control.46
In other experiments, Professor Libet left the choice of when the subjects would move their fingers up to them. The brains of the subjects were monitored at the moment their fingers moved, and it was observed that the relevant brain cells went into action before the subjects actually took the decision. To put it another way, the command "do!" reaches the individual, and the brain is readied to perform the action; the individual only becomes aware of this half a second later. He or she does not take a decision to act and then performs that action, but rather performs an action predetermined for him or her. Yet, the brain makes an adjustment, removing any recognition that the individual is actually living in the past. For that reason, at the moment we refer to as "now," we are actually living something determined in the past. As already discussed, these studies manifest the fact that everything happens by the will of Allah, as revealed in Surat al-Insan 30.

Who is Dajjal?
Hadhrat Imraan bin Husain radhiyallahu anhu relates that, "I heard Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam saying: "Since the birth of Aadam alayhis salaam till the advent of Qiyaamah there is no fitnah (evil, test) much greater that of Dajjal."
One of the most forgotten subject, that every muslim should be aware of is the subject of Dajjal, The one eyed, short and curly but thick hair deceiver who will emerge from Khorasan and claim to be god will mislead many believers.
Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) in a narration said: Dajjal will come when Imams in the mosque will forget mentioning about him. (So I ask you guys how many of you has ever heard any Imam mentioning him in mosque). that scares me the most...
* He will emerge between Shaam and Iraq, and his emergence will become known when he is in Isfahaan at a place called Yahudea.
* The Yahudis (Jews) of Isfahaan will be his main followers.
* Apart from having mainly Yahudi followers, he will have a great number of women followers as well.
* He will have with him fire and water, but in reality the fire will be cold water while that what appears to be cold water will in reality be a blazing fire. Those who obey him will enter "his Jannat" while those who disobey him will enter "his Jahannam."
* There will be a thick fingernail-like object in his left eye.
* The letters "Kaaf" "Faa" "Raa" will appear on his forehead and will be deciphered by all Mu'mineen regardless of them being literate or not.
* He will have a wheatish complexion.
* He will travel at great speeds and his means of conveyance will be a gigantic mule. It is said that he will play beautiful music which will attract the music lovers.
* Dajjal will lay claim to prophethood.
* He will then lay claim to Divinity.
* He will perform unusual feats.
* He will travel the entire world.
* He will send down rains upon those who believe in him, which in turn will cause good crops to grow, trees to bear fruit and cattle to grow fat.
* He will cause drought to those who disbelieve in him, resulting in starvation and hardship for them.
* During those trying times the Mu'mineen will satiate their hunger through the recitation of Subhanallah and La'ilaha Ilallahu.
* The hidden treasures will spill forth at his command.
* He will stay on this Earth for a period of forty days; the length of the first day will be one year, the second day will be equal to one month, the third day will be equal to a week and the remaining days will be normal.
* He will be unable to enter Makkah because the Malaikah will be guarding the Holy City and nor will he be able to enter Madina because there will be Malaikah guarding each of the seven entrances to Madina; From Madina he will proceed towards Shaam where Imaam Mahdi will be stationed.
* Finally Eisa alayhis salaam will descend from the heavens and pursue him and eventually kill him and showing to the people his beheaded head saying he is dead and god does not die cause he claimed divinity, it is said that, this will happen in Bait-ul-Moqadas.

Seven Common Mistakes To Avoid In Salaah(Namaz)
Mistake 1: Reciting Surat al-Fatiha fast without pausing after each verse.
The Prophet (SAW) used to pause after each verse of this surah. (Abu Dawood)
If you listen to the Salaah from Mecca or Madina you can check the pauses.
Mistake 2: Sticking the arms to the sides of the body, in rukoo' or sujood, and sticking the belly to the thighs in sujood.
The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: 'Let not one of you support himself on his forearms (in sujood) like the dog. Let him rest on his palms and keep his elbows away from his body.' (Sahih Muslim) . The Messenger of Allah (SAW) used to keep his arms away from his body during rukoo' and sujood that the whiteness of his armpits could be seen (Sahih Muslim).
Mistake 3: Gazing upward during prayer.
This may cause loss of concentration. We are commanded to lower our gaze, and look at the point at which the head rests during sujood. The Prophet (SAW) warned: 'Let those who raise their gaze up during prayer stop doing so, or else their sights would not return to them. i.e. lose their eyesight].' (Muslim)
Mistake 4 : Resting only the tip of the head on the floor during sujood.
The Prophet (SAW) said: 'I am commanded to prostrate on seven bones the forehead and the nose, the two hands [palms], the two knees, and the two feet.' (Sahih Muslim) Applying the above command necessitates resting the forehead and the nose on the ground during sujood.
Mistake 5 : Hasty performance of prayer which does not allow repose and calmness in rukoo' or sujood.
The Messenger of Allah (SAW) saw a man who did not complete his rukoo' [bowing], and made a very short sujood [prostration] ; he (SAW) said: 'If this man dies while praying in this manner, he would die upholding a religion other than the religion of Muhammad.' Abu Hurairah (RA) said:
'My beloved friend, Muhammad (SAW) forbade me to perform postures of prayer copying the picking of a rooster; (signifying fast performance of prayer), moving eyes around like a fox and the sitting like monkeys ( i.e. to sit on thighs).' (Imam Ahmad & at-Tayalisi) The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: ' The worst thief is the one who steals from his own prayer.' People asked, 'Messenger of Allah! How could one steal from his own prayer?' He ( SAW) said: 'By not completing its rukoo' and sujood.' (At Tabarani & al-Hakim).
To complete rukoo' is to stay in that posture long enough to recite 'Subhana rabbiyal Adtheem' three times, SLOWLY, and 'Subhana rabbiyal-a'ala' three times, SLOWLY, in sujood. He (SAW) also announced: 'He who does not complete his rukoo' and sujood, his prayer is void.' (Abu Dawood & others)
Mistake 6 : Counting tasbeeh with the left hand
The Prophet (SAW) used to count tasbeeh on the fingers of his right hand after salah. Ibn Qudamah (RA) sai d: ' The Messenger of Allah (SAW) used his right hand for tasbeeh.' (Abu Dawood). The above hadeeth indicates clearly that the Prophet (SAW) used only one hand for counting tasbeeh. No Muslim with sound mind would imagine that the Prophet (SAW) used his left hand for counting tasbeeh. Aa'ishah (RA) said that the Prophet (SAW) used his left hand only for Istinjaa', or cleaning himself after responding to the call of nature. He never used it for tasbeeh. Yasirah (RA) reported: The Prophet (SAW) commanded women to count tasbeeh on their fingers.
The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: 'They (the fingers) will be made to speak, and will be questioned (on the Day of Resurrection. )' (At-Tirmidhi) .. The above Hadeeth indicates that it is preferable to count tasbeeh on the fingers of the right hand than to do so on masbahah (rosary).
Mistake 7 : Crossing in front of a praying person.
The Messenger of Allah (SAW) warned: 'Were the one who crosses in front of a praying person to know the consequences of doing so, he would have waited for *forty better than to cross in front of him.' (Sahih Bukhari and Muslim). *The forty in the tradition may be days months or even years. Allah knows best.

Treat Animals With Love
Once our Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) said :
“If anyone wrongfully kills even a sparrow, let alone anything greater, he will face God’s interrogation” [Mishkat al Masabih].
These words reflect the great reverence, respect and love that the Prophet (PBUH) always showed towards animals. He believed that as part of God’s creation, animals should be treated with dignity, and the hadith contains a large collection of traditions, admonitions and stories about his relationship to animals. It shows that he had particular consideration for horses and camels: to him they were valiant companions during journey and battle, and he found great solace and wisdom in their presence as the following tradition reveals: “In the forehead of horses are tied up welfare and bliss until the Day of Resurrection.”
Even in the slaughter of animals, the Prophet (PBUH) showed great gentleness and sensitivity. While he did not practice vegetarianism, the hadiths clearly show that the Prophet was extremely sensitive to the suffering of animals, almost as though he shared their pain viscerally. Thus he recommends using sharp knives and a good method so that the animal can die a quick death with as little pain as possible. He also warned against slaughtering an animal in the presence of other animals, or letting the animal witness the sharpening of blades: to him that was equal to “slaughtering the animal twice” and he emphatically condemned such practices as “abominable”.

Surah Kafh A Brief Explaination
Its Importance
“Praise is due to Allah Who has sent down on His Servant the Book that He has ordained to be free from corruption”. (Surah Al-Kahf 18:1)
Sūrah al-Kahf of the Qur’ān was revealed immediately before the blessed Prophet arrived in Madīnah, i.e., in the last year of his residence in Makkah,
The blessed Prophet (peace be upon him) has advised believers to memorize the first ten verses of this Sūrah for protection from Dajjal (Sahih Muslim)
In another narration The Prophet (PBUH) “He who among you will survive to see him (Dajjāl) should recite over him the
opening verses of Sūrah al-Kahf, (Sahih Muslim)
Yet in another narration the beloved Prophet (PBUH) said “He who recites three verses at the beginning of al-Kahf would be protected from the
trial of the Dajjāl.” (Tirmīdhi)
This beautiful Surah is a great way to be protected from the trials of Dajjal, however not even once Dajjal has been mentioned in Surah Al-kahf
And he has also advised that whoever recites the entire Sūrah on a day of Juma’ah would receive light from Allah (swt) which would stay with him until the next Juma’ah.
The story of al-khidr
The story of the owner of two gardens…
The story of Dhul Qarnain and Gog and Magog
And of course the story of the sleepers of the cave, are such stories covered in this beautiful surah…
The Sūrah ends with the allegory of DhuI Qarnain, who possessed both faith and power, and who established a world-order in which power was used to punish the oppressor, and to assist and reward those who possessed faith in Allah Most High and whose conduct was righteous. He also had the compassion and wisdom to allow the primitive way of life to survive in history.
This is the beauty of the divine message…
Let’s put hands together in preaching and spreading the beautiful and true message…
The Owners of the Two Gardens in Surah Al-Kahf
This is a story about two men, one of whom had been given two gardens by Allah. He began to boast, forgetting to thank Allah (swt) for the bounties bestowed upon him. The second man warned him and told him to be thankful to Allah (swt) but he refused and so Allah (swt) destroyed his garden.
This story gives an example of the tests of wealth. Its shows that wealth is a temporary thing in this life, and just as Allah (swt) can give, He can also take it away at any moment He likes. The man had thought himself superior in terms of wealth; however this it is not the level of wealth that Allah (swt) will judge us by, but by our level of taqwa and Imaan.
The Sleepers Of Cave In SURAH AL KAHF (GREAT STORY)
This is about a number of youths who because of their belief in Allah (swt) were driven out of their homes, and ended up in a cave. Here Allah (swt) made them sleep for a number of years (309 lunar years which is 300 solar years). They then awoke, when asked how long they had slept for they estimated a day or half a day. One of the youths went to the town to get some food. He disguised himself thinking that the people would recognise him and harm him. But when he got there he found himself amongst a different people. The people of the town were amazed at his strange clothes and old coins. They went to the cave and saw the youth. After leaving it is reported that the youth went back to sleep and Allah (swt) caused them to die. Allah (swt) knows best.
The Christian version of this story is known as ‘The Seven Sleepers of Epheus’, however the Qur’aan mentions not the number of those who were in the cave, rather Allah (swt) says:
(Some) say they were three, the dog being the fourth among them; (others) say they were five, the dog being the sixth,- doubtfully guessing at the unknown; (yet others) say they were seven, the dog being the eighth. Say thou: “My Lord knoweth best their number; It is but few that know their (real case).” Enter not, therefore, into controversies concerning them, except on a matter that is clear, nor consult any of them about (the affair of) the Sleepers. [18:22]
If the number of those in the cave had any importance or significance, surely Allah would have told us, we are told not to waste our time discussing such matters. The importance of the story is not how many men were in the cave, but the message that it carries.
The location of the cave is also not mentioned, except that Allah (swt) says:
Thou wouldst have seen the sun, when it rose, declining to the right from their Cave, and when it set, turning away from them to the left, while they lay in the open space in the midst of the Cave… [18:17]
Some scholars have said that the location of the cave is ‘Arajeeb’ in Jordan, according to the description given in the above verse. But again, the location of the cave is not mentioned in the Qur’aan and therefore bears no significance.
Sura Al-Kahf and the Modern Age
“Praise is due to Allah Who has sent down on His Servant the Book that He has ordained to be free from corruption”. (Surah al-Kahf 18:1)
Khidr said to Moses, Surely you would not be able to show patience with me. Indeed, how can you show patience in respect of that which lies beyond your comprehension (since you can temporarily see with only one eye, and consequently can access only external empirical knowledge)? ( Sūrah al-Kahf, 18:66-67)
The implication of the story of Musa and Khidr (‘alaihima al-Salām) in this Sūrah is that only those servants of Allah Most High who see with two eyes, and who are therefore blessed by Allah with internal intuitive spiritual insight, in addition to external observation, would be able to penetrate the internal actual reality of the world in the age of Dajjāl.
We are equally convinced that Sūrah al-Kahf, more than any other Sūrah of the Qur’ān, is the key with which a believer can both unlock the strange modern age and respond appropriately to its awesome challenges.
As the war on Islam intensifies, and as the day approaches when the imposter Euro-Jewish State of Israel would make its bid to become the ruling State in the world, and the false Messiah (i.e., Dajjal) would rule the world from Jerusalem and declare that he is the true Messiah.
Sūrah al-Kahf described for mankind what kind of a heavenly world there could have been at the end of history if mankind has accepted Muhammad (PBUH) as Allah’s final Prophet and had followed him.
Let’s not see with one eye, let’s follow the teachings of the Noble Quran, let’s recite Surah Al-Kahf frequently, Let’s not follow and be mislead of the most Satanic Political System…
The story of Al-Khidr in Surah Al-Kahf
The full story of Al Khidr is mentioned in the following hadith:
Ubai Ibn Ka’b told us that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) said: Once Hazrat Moosa (alayhy salaam) stood up and addressed Bani Israel. He was asked who the most learned man amongst the people was. He said: “I.” Allah admonished him as he did not attribute absolute knowledge to Him (Allah). So, Allah said to him: “Yes, at the junction of the two seas there is a slave of Mine who is more learned than you.” Hazrat Moosa (alayhy salaam) said: “O my Lord! How can I meet him?” Allah said: “Take a fish and put it in a large basket and you will find him at the place where you will lose the fish.”
Hazrat Moosa (alayhy salaam) took a fish and put it in a basket and proceeded along with his (servant) boy, Joshua (Yusha Ibn Nun), till they reached the rock where they laid their heads (i.e. lay down). Hazrat Moosa (alayhy salaam) slept, and the fish, moving out of the basket, fell into the sea. It took its way into the sea (straight) as in a tunnel. Allah stopped the flow of water over the fish and it became like an arch (the Prophet pointed out this arch with his hands). They travelled the rest of the night, and the next day Hazrat Moosa (alayhy salaam) said to his boy (servant): “Give us our food, for indeed, we have suffered much fatigue in this journey of ours.” Moses did not feel tired till he crossed that place which Allah had ordered him to seek after. His boy (servant) said to him: “Do you know that when we were sitting near that rock, I forgot the fish, and none but Satan caused me to forget to tell (you) about it, and it took its course into the sea in an amazing way?” So there was a path for the fish and that astonished them. Moses said: ‘That was what we were seeking after.”
So both of them retraced their footsteps till they reached the rock. There they saw a man lying covered with a garment. Moses greeted him, and he replied saying: “How do people greet each other in your land?” Hazrat Moosa (alayhy salaam)said: “I am Hazrat Moosa (alayhy salaam).”
The man asked: “Hazrat Moosa (alayhy salaam) of Bani Israel?” Hazrat Moosa (alayhy salaam) said: “Yes, I have come to you so that you may teach me from those things which Allah has taught you.” He said: “O Hazrat Moosa (alayhy salaam)s! I have some of the knowledge of Allah which Allah has taught me and which you do not know, while you have some of the knowledge of Allah which Allah has taught you and which I do not know.” Hazrat Moosa (alayhy salaam) asked: “May I follow you?” He said: “But you will not be able to remain patient with me, for how can you be patient about things which you will not be able to understand?” Moses said: “You will find me, if Allah so will, truly patient, and I will not disobey you in aught.”
So both of them set out walking along the sea-shore. A boat passed by them, and they asked the crew of the boat to take them on board. The crew recognised Al-Khidr, so they took them on board without fare. When they were on board the boat, a sparrow came and stood on the edge of the boat and dipped its beak once or twice into the sea. Al-Khidr said to Hazrat Moosa (alayhy salaam): “O Hazrat Moosa (alayhy salaam)! My knowledge and your knowledge have not decreased Allah’s knowledge except as much as this sparrow has decreased the water of the sea with its beak.” Then suddenly Al-Khidr took an adze and pulled up a plank, and Moses did not notice it till he had pulled up a plank with the adze. Hazrat Moosa (alayhy salaam) said to him: “What have you done? They took us on board charging us nothing; yet you have intentionally made a hole in their boat so as to drown its passengers. Verily, you have done a dreadful thing.” Al-Khidr replied: “Did I not tell you that you would not be able to remain patient with me?”Hazrat Moosa (alayhy salaam)replied: “Do not blame me for what I have forgotten, and do not be hard upon me for my fault.” So the first excuse of Moses was that he had forgotten.
When they had left the sea, they passed by a boy playing with other boys. Al-Khidr took hold of the boy’s head and plucked it with his hand like this. (Sufyan, the sub-narrator gestured with his fingertips as if he were plucking some fruit.) Hazrat Moosa (alayhy salaam) said to him: “Have you killed an innocent person who has not killed any person? You have really done a horrible thing.” Al-Khidr said: “Did I not tell you that you could not remain patient with me?” Hazrat Moosa (alayhy salaam) said: “If I ask you about anything after this, don’t accompany me. You have received an excuse from me.”
Then both of them went on till they came to some people of a village, and they asked its inhabitants for food but they refused to entertain them as guests. Then they saw therein a wall which was just going to collapse and Al Khidr repaired it just by touching it with his hands. Hazrat Moosa (alayhy salaam) said: “These are the people, whom we have called on, but they neither gave us food, nor entertained us as guests, yet you have repaired their wall. If you had wished, you could have taken wages for it.”
Al-Khidr said: “This is the parting between you and me, and I shall tell you the explanation of those things on which you could not remain patient.” [Sahih Bukhari]
The explanation of the events are in the Qur’aan:
“As for the ship, it belonged to poor people working in the sea. So I wished to make a defective damage in it, as there was a king after them who seized every ship by force.
“And as for the boy, his parents were believers, and we feared lest he should oppress them by rebellion and disbelief. So we intended that their Lord should change him for them for one better in righteousness and near to mercy.
“And as for the wall, it belonged to two orphan boys in the town; and there was under it a treasure belonging to them; and their father was a righteous man, and your Lord intended that they should attain their age of full strength and take out their treasure as a mercy from your Lord. And I did it not of my own accord. That is the interpretation of those (things) over which you could not hold patience. [ Surah Al-Kahf 18:79-82]
Some scholars believe that the story is set around the Sinai peninsular, where Musa and the Israelites are said to have stayed.
According to hadith literature the slave boy, is called Yusha` bin Nun who became the leader of the Israelites after Musa (as)
Al Khidr is the name given to the man in the story. This is reported in Sahih Al Bukhari, in which the Prophet (saw) said that he (the man) was named Al Khidr (which means green), because he sat on a patch of withered vegetation and it turned green. It is debated whether he is a prophet or angel. According to ibn Kathir, those who say he was a Prophet of Allah (swt) base it upon the following ayah:
So they found one of Our servants, on whom We had bestowed Mercy from Ourselves and whom We had taught knowledge from Our own Presence. [Surah Al-Kahf 18:65]
Again brothers and sisters let's not forget conveying the true message, please forward the message to everyone you know.

List Of Things That Invalidate The Prayer
As-Salaam-O-Allaikum-Wa-Rehmatullahi-Wa-Barakatuhu! Brothers and Sisters in Islam,
Hope this mail finds you all in the best of health and eman, Insha'AllAH!
Do read the fatwa below in order to know what all things invalidate fast as maybe you might be doing one and you don't know that it invalidates the prayer!
Praise be to Allaah.
The things that invalidate the prayer are well known, but the number differs according to differences among the fuqaha’. They are as follows:
1 – That which invalidates wudoo’, such as breaking wind or eating camel meat.
2 – Uncovering the ‘awrah deliberately. But if it is uncovered by accident and what is uncovered is only a little, or if a lot becomes uncovered but he covers it immediately, then the prayer is not invalidated.
3 – Turning away from the qiblah to a large extent.
4 – Presence of najaasah (impurity) on one's body or clothes, or in the place where one is praying. If he notices it or remembers it during the prayer and removes it immediately, then his prayer is valid. Similarly, if he does not find out about it until after the prayer is over, his prayer is still valid.
5 – Excessive continuous movement during the prayer for no essential reason.
6 –Omitting one of the pillars (essential parts) of the prayer, such as bowing and prostration.
7 – Deliberately doing an extra pillar, such as bowing.
8 – Deliberately doing some pillars before others.
9 – Deliberately saying the salaam before completing the prayer.
10 – Deliberately changing the meaning whilst reciting.
11- Deliberately omitting one of the obligatory parts of prayer, such as the first tashahhud. But if a person forgets, his prayer is valid but he must do the prostration of forgetfulness (sujood al-sahw).
12 – Deciding to stop praying.
13 – Laughing out loud. Merely smiling does not invalidate the prayer.
14 – Deliberately speaking. If one speaks by mistake or out of ignorance of the ruling, the prayer is not invalidated.
15 –Eating and drinking.

Why Is Dogs Saliva Najis(Impure)
Islam does not enjoin anything but that which is good for people, and it does not forbid them anything but that which is harmful to them. But this wisdom is known to those who know it and it is unknown to those who do not know it. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) enjoined washing vessels that have been licked by a dog, and that is only because its saliva is impure. Modern science has proven that there are several harmful things in water from which a dog has drunk. The Muslim who follows the command of sharee’ah has no choice but to obey the command, and refrain from that which is forbidden, even if he does not know the reason behind it and there is nothing wrong with trying to find out the reason behind it, but he should not make his compliance dependent upon knowing the reason.
Some of these diseases are transmitted because of going against the command of Islam, and eating and drinking from vessels used by dogs, and some of them are transmitted because the dog carries germs that cause these diseases.
Whatever the case, the Muslim hears and obeys, and goodness is found in responding to sharee’ah by doing what is commanded and avoiding what is forbidden.
And Allaah knows best.

Keeping Dog In The Light Of Islam
Allah Taãla the Creator of this Universe - having created the dog would surely have known that the dog requires Human affection and love to exist in this world. Rasulullah (Sallallaaahu Álayhi Wasallam) would have advised us to keep dogs as pets. On the contrary, we are instructed not to keep dogs as pets and 'love' them as exemplified by the non-Muslims. Remember our life is structured and bound by the Shariah i.e. The Noble Qurãn and the beautiful example of Rasulullah (Sallallaaahu Álayhi Wasallam). Consider these Ahaadith:
Sayyidna Abu Talha (Radhiyallaahu Ánhu) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallaaahu Álayhi Wasallam) said, "Angels do not enter a house wherein there is a dog or an animate picture. (Sahih Bukhari Hadith no. 2986)
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas (Radhiyallaahu Ánhuma) reports from Sayyidna Maimoona (Radhiyallaahu Ánha) that once Rasulullah (Sallallaaahu Álayhi Wasallam) became sad; and said that Jibra'eel (Álayhis Salaam) promised to meet him at night but did not turn up. "By Allah what has kept him back," said the Prophet (Sallallaaahu Álayhi Wasallam). Then he realised a puppy was under his bed. He ordered that the puppy be removed and the area be sprinkled with water. In the afternoon when Jibra'eel (Álayhi Salaam) came, Rasulullah (Sallallaaahu Álayhi Wasallam) enquired as to the delay. Jibra'eel (Álayhi
Salaam) said that we, the group of Angels do not enter a house wherein there is a dog or pictures. (Sahih Muslim Hadith no.3928)
HOWEVER
Islam gives permission to keep dogs for certain purposes, such as hunting, guarding livestock and protecting crops. An analogy has been made for similar purposes or those which are more essential, such as protecting houses from burglars, using them to find drugs and thieves. In any other cases, the one who keeps a dog is subject to the warning of having one or two qiraats deducted from his reward every day.
Shaykh Yoosuf ibn ‘Abd al-Haadi said, quoting from some of the scholars:
Undoubtedly the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) gave permission to keep hunting dogs in several ahaadeeth, and said that keeping a dog for hunting does not detract from one’s reward. In another hadeeth he gave permission to keep a dog for herding livestock, and in another hadeeth for keeping sheep, and in another hadeeth for guarding farms. So it is known that the reason which makes it permissible to keep a dog is when it is for a purpose, and the ruling depends on whether that reason is there or not. If the reason is there, then it is permissible to keep a dog, even though some reasons are more important than agricultural reasons, and some reasons are equally important to those that are mentioned in the texts.
If the reason is there, then it is permissible to keep a dog, even though some reasons are more important than agricultural reasons, and some reasons are equally important to those that are mentioned in the texts.

now, what's worse with bollywoodmovies????
You will say I’ve declared war on Bollywood (the Indian film industry), but there is hardly anything left to do when it is your faith, and that of your kin, it plays with. We have seen what’s wrong with Bollywood movies: unrealistic dreams and fantasies, loss of sense of shame, singing and indecent dancing, issues with culture and bad role models.. But now, what’s worse? The worst thing is the elements of shirk and kufr it displays, rendering these two things only as normal as drinking a glass of water, while they are the worst things a human being can do on Earth. In a word, I say: Bollywood plays with your Imaan! And here’s how.
What is Shirk and What is Kufr?
Shirk is part of Kufr, which is the worst thing a person can do on earth. Kufr is the contrary of Imaan (faith). Kufr is therefore disbelief, apostasy, rebellion against Allah, and leads straight to loss. Any element that goes against the basic fundamental beliefs in Islam is Kufr. Shirk is a subset of Kufr and consists of associating another person or thing to Allah in His diety, e.g. worshipping idols. For a Muslim, falling into Kufr and Shirk is simply and absolutely out of question, and utmost care has to be taken not to fall into that, or even to go near it. The Messenger of Allah (saw) described the true believer as having many traits, one of which is that he abhors kufr so much that he would prefer being burnt into fire than go to kufr! Your imaan is the most precious thing you hold – so forsake it for nothing, not even your life! Like I always say, deen (religion) isn’t a matter of life and death, it is more important than that.
How Bollywood Hammers Kufr and Shirk on You
Indian films are pitted with elements of Shirk and Kufr, both implicitly and explicitly. If it does not impact immediately and directly on your faith and that of your children, it does so as a habit and in an unconscious way. As a result, Muslims are made to accept Kufr and Shirk in their minds and lives, such that the line between Imaan and Kufr is blurred, at times it even disappears.
Out of the thousands, let us see some examples.
I watched a movie trailer the other day, while queuing in a supermarket, in which I saw Amitabh Bachchan dressed in a sublime white suit and walking on clouds. The movie’s name is God Tussi Great Ho (…I wonder if I got that right!). In it, Amitabh Bachchan plays…… God!!! He gives powers to another actor on Earth. Later on, I tried to learn more about how the local Muslim community greeted the movie. It was warmly welcomed. I know some families who even enjoyed it in organized movie nights – parents and children together. Collective consumption of a movie whose very theme is based on Kufr – an actor playing Allah! I also learned that the movie is a remake of a Hollywood movie ‘Bruce Almighty’. Hollywood is a dagger too, but sharper.
Now, let us sing a little bit. I will quote (rather transliterate and translate from Hindustani) below what I overheard in songs from Indian movies. I don’t know at all which movies or artists they come from, but all that is common talk. Ask any ‘Antakshari’ fan and you will get all references.
- Tujhe apna khuda bana doonga, tumhari ibadat karoonga.
“I will make of you my god, and I will worship you.”
- Ek budh banaoonga tujhe aur pooja karoonga. Arey mar jaoonga pyaar agar main dooja karoonga.
“I will make of you a statue and will make pooja (a Hindu act of worship) for you. Oh I will die if I associate another one with you.”
- Mera pyaar hai itna ooncha jaise ram raheema.
“My love is as elevated as Ram (a Hindu diety) and Raheema (Allah).”
Here, the lover’s love is raised to the level of Allah. Also, Ram is made equal to Allah as diety. Simply Shirk.
- Sanam mere sanam, qasam teri qasam, terey liye huwa janam mera janam
“Sanam O my Sanam. I swear by you, I have taken birth only for you.”
The word Sanam is of Arabic origin (spelled saad-noon-meem).. Hindustani is a mixture of Hindi and Urdu, which in turn is derived from Persian and Arabic.. The word sanam (plural asnaam) also comes in the Quran, referring to the statues that pagans used to worship. Here, the girl is called ‘sanam’!
Also, the man swears by his lover, which is an act of Kufr as it is only allowed to swear by Allah.
- Aa sajda karoon mein tere haathon mein
“Come, let me make sijdah on your hands.”
- Rabb se ziyada tujhe pyaar karta hoon, rabb mujhe maaf karey, mera insaaf karey
“I love you more than Rabb. May Rabb excuse me, put me on trial.”
It has become common in society to love someone more than anyone else, including God, to the extent of abandoning everything for love, even Islam. Note also that the lover ironically asks that Allah put him on trial, as if a challenge, while a true Muslim fears Allah’s trial and retribution.
- ..agar khuda bhi na jaaney
“…if even Allah doesn’t know (referring to their secret romantic meeting place).”
A true Muslim’s belief is that Allah knows everything, without any exception. Phrases as the one above dilute that Kufr belief in Muslims’ minds and hearts.
- Janam janam ka saath hey hamaara tumhaara
“Our relationship is one that stands birth after birth (janam janam).”
Notice the concept of reincarnation here - that of taking birth again on earth after death. This concept comes over and over in many movies and songs, as it is a fundamental belief in Hinduism. Reincarnation is Kufr, as a true Muslim believes that when one dies, he goes to Barzakh waiting for Qiyaamah when he will either be put in heaven or hell, depending on his faith and deeds.
These are only bits and pieces gathered, and there are thousands of other examples, in words, scenes and implication. It is common scene in Indian movies, for another instance, to see someone praying to a statue wishing for something, and being granted that which they asked for.
I am not hereby calling any Muslim who watches Indian movies of kaafir (guilty of Kufr) or mushrik (guilty of Shirk), far from that. I am only trying to instill awareness as to the destructive effect Bollywood movies can have, and have already had, on the Imaan of Muslims. As a result of that psychological impact, so many Muslims can’t even define Imaan as it should, and are somewhat confused as to what to believe and what not, and how to behave and how not.
Then, Deen Loses Importance
One immediate effect of Bollywood, one that is so sadly apparent, in Muslim societies, is the loss of Imaan’s importance in life.. Imaan has become secondary – love (passionate and sex-based, devoid of any divine characteristic) is made the number one value. Anything else is expandable, including God, parents and honour.
As a result, whenever religion (and therefore the exigencies of Imaan) becomes a ‘barrier’ to love, it is eliminated. Think of any of our sisters falling in love with a boy of another religion without feeling any reason to question the relationship. This feeling has been taken due care of by the maestros of Bollywood, with tools like ‘Veer Zaara’, ‘Refugee’ and the likes. These movies depict the filthy relationship of a Muslim girl and a Hindu boy. At the end, at least in the minds of viewers, this love prevails and wins over religion and other types of authority, be it parental or political. Such movies are so sentimentally moving that they leave the viewer with awe in the heart and tears in the eyes.
Let’s Be Intelligent
I’d like to end by exhorting upon a thorough reflection on Imaan and all it implies, and subsequently the adoption of necessary resolutions. By now, you must have figured out which ones to take personally. Next time you bring a DVD home, think twice and be intelligent, for the sake of your faith and that of your children and family. And then, why not reflect on love too, because we have yet to redefine love, especially since most of our youngsters hold their definitions thereof from movies, novels and filthy liberal stories. Islam talks of love too.

Charity That A Poor Can Also Perform
On the authority of Abu Hurairah(RAZI ALLAHU ANHU), who said: RASOOLULLAH SALLALLAHU ALAYHAY WASALAM said:
"Each person's every joint must perform a charity every day the sun comes up : to act justly between two people is a charity; to help a man with his mount, lifting him onto it or hoistingd up his belongings onto it is a charity: a good word is a charity, every step you take to prayers is a charity and removing a harmful thing from the road is a charity."

Fasting Six Days of Shawwal after Ramadan: 'Like Fasting the Entire Year..!!
Assalamu alaikum,
Praise be to Allaah.
Fasting six days of Shawwaal after the obligatory fast of Ramadaan is Sunnah Mustahabbah, not waajib. It is recommended for the Muslim to fast six days of Shawwaal, and in this there is great virtue and an immense reward. Whoever fasts these six days will have recorded for him a reward as if he had fasted a whole year, as was reported in a saheeh hadeeth from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).
Abu Ayyub (Allah be pleased with him) relates that the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace be upon him, his family, and companions) said, “Whoever fasts Ramadan and follows it with six days from Shawwal it is as if they fasted the entire year.” [Muslim, Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi, and Ibn Majah; Ahmad transmitted it from Jabir, Muntaqa]
Thawban (Allah be pleased with him) relates that the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace be upon him, his family, and companions) said, “Whoever fasts Ramadan, and then six days after Eid, it is [like fasting] an entire year. Whoever does a good deed shall have ten times its reward.” [Ibn Majah, Muntaqa]
It is permitted to fast these six days separately throughout the month, or consecutively, after Eid al-Fitr. [ibid.]

And stones would be showered upon them as it was showered on the nation of Lut. A devastating wind will be sent on them and scatter them as it did to those before them. (The reason for this) will be due to drinking wine, devouring interest, adorning silk, KEEPING SINGING GIRLS and breaking family ties
(8) Nafi (Rahimullah) narrates that Ibn Umar (radiyallâhu ‘anhu) heard the (sound of the) musical instruments of a shepherd. The above mentioned Ahadith are all authentic and sufficient to use as evidence. Nevertheless, hereunder we have cited a few more Ahadith with varying status. Although some of these narrations are relevantly weaker than those that were quoted above, they nonetheless lend strength to the prohibition of music.

Sleeping and missing Salat al-Fajr
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever prays the dawn prayer in congregation, it is as if he had prayed the whole night long.” (Muslim, p. 454, no. 656; al-Tirmidhi, 221).
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) also said: “The most burdensome prayers for the hypocrites are salaat al-’isha’ and salaat al-fajr, but if they only knew what they contain, they would come even if they had to crawl.” (Reported by Imaam Ahmad, al-Musnad, 2/424; Saheeh al-Jaami’, 133).
“Whoever prays fajr is under the protection of Allah. Do not put yourselves in a situation where Allah has to call you to account for your negligence.” (Reported by al-Tabaraani, 7/267; Saheeh al-Jaami’, no. 6344).
“Angels come to you in shifts by night and by day. They meet at salaat al-fajr and salaat al-‘asr, then those who had stayed with you at night ascend, and are asked by the One Who knows better than they: ‘How did you find My servants?’ They say, ‘We left them when they were praying, and we came to them when they were praying.’” (Reported by al-Bukhaari, al-Fath, 2/33).
The best of prayers in the sight of Allah is the dawn prayer on Friday, in congregation.” (Reported by Abu Na’eem in al-Hilyah, 7/207, and in al-Silsilah al-Saheehah, 1566).
In al-Saheeh, it is reported that Ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: “If we did not see a person at fajr and ‘isha’ prayers, we would think badly of him.” (Reported by al-Tabaraani in al-Mu’jam al-Kabeer, 12/271. Al-Haythami said, the men of al-Tabaraani are muwaththaqoon (trustworthy). al-Majma’, 2/40). They thought badly of a person who was absent from these two prayers because regular performance of them is an indication of a person’s faith and a measure of his sincerity. Other prayers may be easier to do because they are more convenient to a person’s circumstances and fit in with his work and his sleep, but only those who are determined and sincere, people whom one hopes are good people, will be able to pray fajr and ‘isha’ regularly in congregation.
This sincerity and devotion may cause some very enthusiastic people to find unusual ways to help themselves to wake up to pray, which is a sign of their eagerness and keenness. One of them may set a number of alarm clocks to wake him up, setting each one a few minutes later than the other, so that if he turns the first one off, the next one will wake him a few moments later, and so on. Another may tie a string to his wrist, with the other end dangling from his window, so that when one of his friends passes by on his way to the mosque, he can pull on the string and wake him for fajr prayer.
The best guidance is the guidance of Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

Heroism Of The Sahabas Abdullah Bin Jahsh (Radhiyallaho Anho) and Saad (Radhiyallaho Anho)
Abdullah Bin Jahsh (Radhiyallaho Anho) and Saad (Radhiyallaho Anho) Pray for Each Other.
On the eve of Uhud, Abdullah bin Jahsh (Radhiyallaho Anho) said to Saad bin Abi Waqqaas (Radhiyallaho Anho), "Oh Saad, come let us pray together. Let each pray to Allah for the grant of his sole desire, and the other would say Ameen to it. This way, the prayers are more likely to be answered by Allah."
Saad (Radhiyallaho Anho) agreed, and they both went to a corner to pray.
Saad (Radhiyallaho Anho) was first to pray saying, "Oh Allah, when the battle rages tomorrow, let me face a very strong and fierce enemy. Let him attack me with might and main, and let me repulse him with all my strength. Then oh Allah, let me be triumphant by killing him for your sake, and allow me to have his possessions as booty."
Abdullah (Radhiyallaho Anho) said, "Ameen."
Then Abdullah (Radhiyallaho Anho) started his prayer, saying, "Oh Allah, let me face one of the toughest fighters among the enemy tomorrow. Let him attack me with full fury and let me attack him with my full strength. Then let him have the upper hand and kill me. He may cut my nose and ears from my body. And when I appear before You on the day of Judgment, You may ask me, 'How did you lose your nose and ears, Oh Abdullah?' To which I may reply, 'These were lost in the way of Allah and His Prophet (Sallallaho alaihe Wasallam).' Then You will say, 'Yes! surely these were lost in My way.' "
Saad (Radhiyallaho Anho) said, "Ameen."
In the battle field next day, both of the Sahabah saw their prayers answered exactly as they had asked.
Saad (Radhiyallaho Anho) says, "Abdullah's prayer was better than mine. In the evening I noticed his ears and nose strung in a thread."
This story on the one hand depicts great chivalry and valor on the part of Sahabah, in as much as they were anxious to face the brave and the strong amongst the enemy, and on the other hand it shows their devotion and love for Allah. Abdullah (Radhiyallaho Anho) wishes Allah to confirm on the Day of Judgment that his sacrifice was really for Allah's cause. What an excellent wish.

Valor & Heroism Of Hadhrat Amr bin Jamooh's (Radhiyallaho Anho)
Hadhrat Amr bin Jamooh's (Radhiyallaho Anho) desire for martyrdom.
Hadhrat Amr bin Jamooh (Radhiyallaho Anho) was lame. He had four sons, who often remained in the company of the Prophet (Sallallaho alaihe Wasallam) and took part in the campaigns. In Uhud, Amr (Radhiyallaho Anho) desired very much to join the battle.
People said to him, "You are excusable, as you are lame. You need not go to the battle."
He replied, "How sad that my sons go to Paradise, and I stay behind."
His wife also wanted him to fight and get martyred, so that she might have the honor of being the widow of a martyr. To exhort him, she said to him, "I do not believe that people have stopped you from going. It seems that you are yourself afraid to go to the battlefield."
Hearing this, Hadhrat Amr (Radhiyallaho Anho) equipped himself with arms and, facing Qiblah, prayed to Allah:
"Oh, Allah! Let me not come back to my family again."
He then went to the Prophet (Sallallaho alaihe Wasallam) and said, "I had always wished for martyrdom, but my people have always been stopping me from going into the battle. Oh, Prophet of Allah! I cannot resist my desire any more. Do permit me to join the battle. I hope to walk in Paradise with my lame foot."
The Prophet (Sallallaho alaihe Wasallam) said to him, "You have an excuse. There is no harm if you stay behind."
But he still insisted, and at last the Prophet (Sallallaho alaihe Wasallam) permitted him to fight.
Hadhrat Abu Talha (Radhiyallaho Anho) says, "I saw Amr (Radhiyallaho Anho) fighting. He walked proudly and said. 'By Allah! I am fond of Paradise.' One of his sons was following him at his heels. The father and the son fought till both of them were killed."
His wife on hearing of the passing away of her husband and son, came with a camel to fetch their bodies. It is said that when the bodies were loaded on the camel, it refused to stand up. When it was made to stand up after great beating, it would not go to Madinah and would turn towards Uhud, again and again.
When the Prophet (Sallallaho alaihe Wasallam) was informed of this, he said, "The camel is charged to do that. Did Amr (Radhiyallaho Anho) say anything at the time of leaving his home?"
His wife informed the Prophet (Sallallaho alaihe Wasallam) that he had prayed to Allah, facing Qiblah:
"Oh, Allah! Let me not come back to my family again."
The Prophet (Sallallaho alaihe Wasallam) said, "This is why the camel is refusing to go toward his home."
Look at Hadhrat Amr's (Radhiyallaho Anho) desire to get killed in the path of Allah. It was their love and devotion for Allah and His Prophet that led the Sahabah to the height of such attainment. Even after passing away, Amr (Radhiyallaho Anho) wants to remain in the battlefield, and the camel refused to take his body back to Madinah.
SUBAN'ALLAH.

Three Questions
There was a young man who went overseas to study for quite a long time.
When he returned, he asked his parents to find him a religious scholar or any expert who could answer his 3 Questions.
Finally, his parents were able to find a Muslim scholar.
Young man: Who are you? Can you answer my questions?
Scholar: I am one of Allah (SubHana Wa Ta`ala )'s slaves and Insha-Allah (God willing), I will be able to answer your questions.
Young man: Are you sure? A lot of Professors and experts were not able to answer my questions.
Scholar: I will try my best, with the help of Allah( SubHana Wa Ta`ala).
Young Man: I have 3 questions:
1. Does God exist? If so, show me His shape.
2. What is thaqdir (fate)?
3. If shaitan (Devil) was created from the fire, why at the end he will be thrown to hell that is also created from fire. It certainly will not hurt him at all, since Shaitan (Devil) and the hell were created from fire. Did God not think of it this far?
Suddenly, the Scholar slapped the young man's face very hard.
YoungMan (feeling pain): Why do you get angry at me?
Scholar: I am not angry. The slap is my answer to your three questions.
Young Man: I really don't understand.
Scholar: How do you feel after I slapped you?
Young Man: Of course, I felt the pain.
Scholar: So do you believe that pain exists?
Young Man: Yes.
Scholar: Show me the shape of the pain!
Young Man: I cannot.
Scholar: That is my first answer. All of us feel God's existence without being able to see His shape... Last night, did you dream that you will be slapped by me?
Young Man: No.
Scholar: Did you ever think that you will get a slap from me, today?
Young Man: No.
Scholar:That is takdir (fate) my second answer........ My hand that I used to slap you, what is it created from?
Young Man: It is created from flesh.
Scholar: How about your face, what is it created from?
Young Man: Flesh.
Scholar: How do you feel after I slapped you?
Young Man: In pain.
Scholar: Thats it. this is my third answer, Even though Shaitan (Devil) and also the hell were created from the fire, if Allah wants, insha-Allah (God willing), the hell will become a very painful place for Shaitan.

Being proficient in foreign languages
Assalaamoualaikoum wa Rahmatullahi
wa Barakaatouhu ...
Proficient in a foreign language.
A Muslim should not forget to pay attention to foreign languages, because these days, learning a foreign language is one of the most important tasks required of the active Muslim who understands the demands of contemporary Islamic life.
Fifteen centuries ago, the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) encouraged the study of foreign languages so that the Muslims would always be able to communicate with various nations and races, and convey to them the message of truth that Allah The Exalted has entrusted to them to proclaim throughout the world. We see evidence of this in the hadith narrated by Zayd ibn Thaabit (ra), in which he says that the Prophet (pbuh) told him; "Oh Zayd, learn the writing of the Jews, for by Allah I do not trust the Jews to write anything down for me." Zayd said; "So I learnt it and it only took me a month to become proficient in it. Then I used to take down whatever letters the Prophet (pbuh) wanted to send to them, and I would read for him the letters that they sent him,"
In another report he said, "The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) asked me, "Do you know Syriac? I have received a letter in this language." I said, 'No.' He said, 'Then learn it.' So I learnt it.' [Tirmidhi who said it is a hasan saheeh hadith]
Similarly, Ibn az-Zubayr (ra) was proficient in a number of languages, but learning them did not distract him from his religion or preparing for the Hereafter. He had a hundred (male) slaves, each of whom spoke different language, and he used to speak to each slave in his own language. If you were to see this man when he was dealing with worldly affairs, you would think that he was a man who did not give a second's thought to the hereafter, and if you saw him dealing with religious matters, you would think that he was a man who did not give a second's thought to this world. [Al-Haakim and Ibn Na'eem]
Nowadays, more than ever before, the Muslim needs to be proficient in foreign languages so that he may know what is going on around him, both positive and negative, and so that he may understand what has been written about his Ummah (nation) and its heritage in languages other than his own, and thus be able to defend his nation from evil and speak up for its well-being.
Please forward.
May Allah rewards us all.

Keeping sins as a secret
As-Salamu Alaykum (peace be upon you),
KEEPING SINS A SECRET
From among the teachings of Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) is to keep sins a secret matter. If someone commits a sinful act which is against the Commandments of Allah, or is against the moral character, or is such an act that may cause harm to one's honor, then he should keep it a secret and seek forgiveness from Allah in the darkness of night. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
"My entire nation is safe, except al-Mujahirin (those who boast of their sins). Among the Mujaharah is that a man commits an (evil) act, and wakes up in the morning while Allah has kept his (sin) a secret, he says: "O Fulan! Last night I did this and that." He goes to sleep while Allah has kept his (sin) a secret but he wakes up in the morning and uncovers what Allah has kept a secret!" [Sahih al-Bukhari]
Zayd ibn Aslam narrated,
'At the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), a man admitted that he had committed fornication, so the Messenger of Allah asked for a whip. He was brought a broken whip, so he said: "Better than this." Then he was brought a new whip..., he then said: "Lesser than this.' So, he was brought a whip that was used and had thus become soft, and the Messenger (peace be upon him) ordered that he be whipped with it (a hundred times). He then said: "O People! It is time for you to refrain from transgressing Allah's limits. He who commits some of these filthy acts (such as fornication), let him hide under Allah's cover, for whoever admits what he has committed, we will establish Allah's Book as regards him (by applying the warranted punishment for this sin)." [Musnad Ahmad]
Abdullah Ibn Mas'ud related,
'A man came to the Prophet and said: 'O Messenger of Allah! I have mingled with a woman in the far side of al-Medina, and I fulfilled my desire short of actually having sexual intercourse with her. So, here am I, judge me according to what you decide.' Umar Ibn al-Khattab then said: 'Allah had kept your secret, why did not you keep your secret?' [Muslim] Similarly, if one becomes aware of somebody else's sin, he should keep it a secret. Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said: "He, who relieves a hardship of this Dunya (word) for a believer, Allah will relieve (from him) a hardship of the Day of Resurrection; he who makes easy an indebted person, Allah will make it easy for him in the Dunya and the Hereafter; he who covers a Muslim (meaning his mistakes and shortcomings), Allah will cover him in the Dunya and the Hereafter..." [Muslim]
Abdullah Ibn Umar related,
"The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) once rose above the podium and then said with a loud voice, "O those who have embraced Islam only with their tongue, while Iman faith) has not yet entered their hearts, neither harm Muslims, nor mock them, nor try to expose their mistakes, for he who follows (searches for) the errors of his brother, Allah will follow his errors, and he whom Allah follows his errors, He will expose him even if he was in the middle of his home." [Sahih al-Jami]
Imam an-Nawawi writes,
'This Hadith indicates that following and then exposing people's mistakes only occurs by the hypocrites and those whose Iman is so weak, that it did not yet fill their hearts..." Exposing sins lead to humiliation and embarrassment, which ceases the possibility that the sinner might someday regret his mistake, seek forgiveness from Allah and purify his soul from sins because one of the things that prevent one from committing sins is the fear of humiliation. However, if the sinner knows that the people are already aware of his sins, then he does not experience the shame and distraction which he used to feel before and this might encourage him to commit sins openly! Secondly, when sins are repeatedly mentioned in gatherings, etc. the fear of committing sins vanishes from the people's hearts. First the sin will become easy on people's tongue and gradually he, who does not feel any shame in mentioning the sin, will not find it difficult to even commit the sin. This is how, sins spread in the society!
So, if someone becomes aware of his brother's sins and realizes that nobody except him has seen him committing the sin, then he should keep the sin a secret. He should not encourage people towards sins by exposing his faults. Allah, the Exalted, has not only condemned committing sins in the Quran but He has also condemned those people who mention sins in public. He said:
"Verily, those who like that Fahishah should be circulated among those who believe, they will have a painful torment." [Noble Quran 24:19] meaning, those who like to see evil talk about them (the believers) appear. [Tafsir Ibn Kathir]
Allah says:
"Allah does not like that evil should be uttered in public except by him who has been wronged." [Noble Quran 4:148]
Ibn Abbas commented on this verse,
"Allah does not like that anyone should invoke Him against anyone else, unless one was wronged. In this case, Allah allows one to invoke Him against whoever wronged him...Yet, it is better for one if he observes patience." [Tafsir Ibn Kathir]
Today sins have become widespread in the society because we have forgotten the teachings of Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him), who discouraged people from revealing one's mistakes and sins as well as others. As a result, people have lost the fear of committing not only minor sins but even major sins - Moreover, we find people proudly attributing sins to themselves!!
Today, there are also many novel channels through which sins are propagated in the society; like such book, magazines and television programs that mention the crimes of others, illicit acts, and immorality under the name of creating awareness among the people. These programs which are meant to help the people against the crimes are in reality, helping the crime to spread fast in the society! Crimes, which were previously unknown to people have become common offense! It is therefore necessary for the Muslims to avoid all such avenues which may lead to the destruction of our Muslim Ummah.
